Everything in the world is chaotic, yet many small things in life seem to maintain order and regularity. In this work my silhouette projected onto the uniform backs of numerous game avatars—each a fragment of my digital self, a presence amid virtual personas. The Fourier transform could mean following the veins of order and pattern, constantly approaching and widening the frequency distribution, making events increasingly precise.
When as an installation, audiences are free to take the postcards with them—pictures of my avatars. I keep the images of them with me.
